We now have a new, bad-ass drummer, Phil Plata. Hopefully we will start playing shows in August when we've had enough practice and everyone is done taking their summer vacations.

The mixing is done. Now we are in the process of mastering and finalizing the album artwork and liner notes.

We are still mixing our album! Chico's been busy, so he can only fit us in when he can fit us in. We might finish it tomorrow.
04/29/2008:
We are still mixing our album. We have a few sessions scheduled at the end of May, so hopefully the recording/mixing phase will be finished by the end of May.
Also, we have a show at Red Eyed Fly Wednesday, May 7 with Follow That Bird!, Kentucky Nightmare and Zlam Dunk. We have played with Follow That Bird! before and they're awesome (be sure to request their cover of "Milkshake").
02/08/2008:
We finished recording our album at the end of January and will be spending all of February mixing it. If mixing, mastering and packaging go as scheduled, the album will be available in late March/early April.
Also, don't forget to come out to Mohawk on February 22 to see us play with La Snacks and Follow That Bird. A big thanks to La Snacks for setting up the show.

We are getting very close to finishing the recording of our album. Just a few more harmony vocals and re-recording some guitar parts and then the mixing process will begin.

We'll be at OHM Recording Facility throughout most of December trying to finish up our first full-length album.

We've got a show at The Hole in the Wall in a little over two weeks. We'll be playing with Austin legends The Ideals and Wannabees.
We'll also be working in the studio the rest of this week trying to get the last four songs done for our first full-length collection of songs. Maybe we'll actually meet our deadline (which we're not stating so no one will know if we miss it).

The Evildoers have risen once again with the addition of female vocalist, Amber. She and Angus are quickly learning the songs and even a few new ones no one but the band have heard. Come see the debut of this new incarnation of The Evildoers at Carousel Lounge Saturday, August 19. More details about the show will be announced as we figure them out. Keep on rockin' the evil!

Angus has joined the band as our new bassist. He has recently moved to Austin from Florida and will be playing with us until his band, The Reset Method, move to Austin or we find another bassist (so, yes, we are still looking). Angus is learning the songs amazingly fast, so we are hoping to set up some shows by mid-August. Although things are sounding great, we do miss those sweet, high harmonies Renee provided, so we are now seeking a female vocalist to sing harmony vocals and even an occasional lead vocal. If you are interested, send us an e-mail.

The rumors are true: Renee has quit the band. We are sad to lose her as a band-mate, but she is still a friend. In fact, she hung out at Charlie's place the other night and borrowed his copy of Young Frankenstein. If you haven't already, you may want to order the new EP, since it may be your only opportunity to hear her awesome song "Lovebird."
